After the constant goes you had at me just for me saying I saw it as a winnable game?I've tried to be polite with you but i gotta say your a little bitch sometimes
We had Bidwell , Woolfenden ,KKH , Allen , EMC and Simms among our subs tonight and thats without Rudoni and Dovin .its A strange one, still look at the team when it comes out and think we’re a bit light but everyone just seems to have stepped up, was worried about losing key players but it doesn’t seem to bother us,
Definitely has Houchen / Bennett similarities
You have issues if you think I was constantly having a go at you. I couldn't have clarified any more. Get helpAfter the constant goes you had at me just for me saying I saw it as a winnable game?
You have seriously gone down in my estimations.
What’s that
Please! relax! you need to be in a good frame of mind for your students! You have issues if you think I was constantly having a go at you. I couldn't have clarified any more. Get help
Agreed.Spot on, not getting too carried away but we’re getting results without rudoni and EMC, we’ll only get better once they’re both back,
But Simms and EMC could?
Just think of it as a big brother, what you do with that depends on you? Please! relax! you need to be in a good frame of mind for your students!
I'm not kidding myself , I agree we needed another option in wide areas . I just think BTA is showing what he offers to the team as a whole and in Brau and KKH we have options before we get to JanuaryAgreed.
The reason it ended 4-0 was because Millwall were aggressively chasing a goal even at 3-0 down. We made life easy for ourselves for scoring a good 1st half goal from a solid piece of pressing by BTA.
With the exception of Leicester away, we’ve been the better team in all of our games this season and that’s encouraging and a cause for optimism.
My concern is that the squad depth catches up with us so being able to rotate Haji, Torp, BTA and Sakamoto over the last 2 games is useful!
EMC will be a starter at full strength. Including BTA, we have 3 wingers and you really need 4 as a minimum.
Anyone who thinks the squad isn’t thin is kidding themselves or high on optimism.
What did he sayLampard is right that the squad size is the only thing that can scupper us.
Someone please correct Mr Lampard. The squad size is fine, and we have fantastic depth.
If we are in the top 4 come January I expect the club will try and push
Losing Sheaf and not getting 1-2 players in has left us light in forward areas but confidence and team spirit plays a big part in any successful side
Ipswich just can't get going. It sometimes happens to relegated sides. I expected them to coast this season and had us 2nd to 4th. Because of their start I changed our forecast to 1st to 4th.We’re a top 3-4 side. Ipswich, Leicester, Southampton and even Sheff U have deeper squads than us and that could be the difference.
We’re still in October and in the 4 games we’ve drew, we’ve not really had any game changers to call upon from the bench.
Take today as an example, the subs we made worked because we were 2-0 up. KKH, Andrews and Wolfenden are not players that will grab you goals when chasing a game.
Yep agree. Can sense some lingering frustration from Lampard that business wasn’t done but the hard work done on the training ground this summer is worth a new signing or two in itself for the boost in performance. If we are in the top 4 come January I expect the club will try and push
Doesn't mean we will get the players we want though , but I imagine they will try and do business
Lampard a disaster? Please! relax! you need to be in a good frame of mind for your students!
Come on... admit it...it wont affect the percentage plus points promise x
Please. Early night. School tomorrow.
What’s that
Does not make sense!Come on... admit it...it wont affect the percentage plus points promise x
There’s levels to this. Look at who Ipswich, Sheff U, Southampton and Leicester were able to bring on yesterday. Compare that to us.I'm not kidding myself , I agree we needed another option in wide areas . I just think BTA is showing what he offers to the team as a whole and in Brau and KKH we have options before we get to January
There’s still 38 games to go and in the long run, the quality will show for Ipswich imo. There are reasons to be sceptical of Leicester, Southampton and Sheff U (unproven/vulnerable managers).Ipswich just can't get going. It sometimes happens to relegated sides. I expected them to coast this season and had us 2nd to 4th. Because of their start I changed our forecast to 1st to 4th.
Leicester lost their best players and are starting to hit major financial difficulties. They have already borrowed every penny of their parachute payments just to keep paying their inflated wage bill. They're in major trouble if they don't go up this season. Nobody wants to take on their overrated players on massive wages. How about their points deduction?
A few of us mentioned Will Still as not having the experience for the Championship. I hope he keeps his job for a few more months.
Sheffield UnitedHad them as mid table. Sold their best players other than Hamer. Replaced them with loans that hadn't played at this level before. Got rid of Wilder for what most saw as an inept manager. Now Wilder is back he has a squad you wouldn't want. Mid table now would be a good result for them.
So we're left with our 'normal' opponents. None of them kept their best players. We kept everyone we wanted plus strengthened. BTA has made up for where we needed to strengthen. What a player he has suddenly become under our new team.
It's starting to look like £30 for away tickets next season
