That Cooper would’ve scored so that’s one less goal for them I guess.

If we need a wide forward we could bring back Micky Quinn

He's also incredibly slow and cannot complete a forward pass.
Thomas is a better defender but again his passing is shocking.
Binks not so good at the defensive part but at least he can make a forward pass and creates things going forward.
MVE has lost is confidence and seems to only pass backwards, scared to take his man on.
JDS constantly out of position. So many goals have come from his side recently.
Our defence is a right mess, not helped by the keeper situation.

Kitching completes plenty of forward passes, marginally less than Binks but he has created double the amount of shot creating actions. Other than that long diagonal you get very little else from Binks.

Surely Kitching, Dovin and Bidwell have to start.

Cooper out, Hutchinson ( captain) out, Tarananga (or whatever his name is,) is suspended after 5 bookings. Also Coburn out for 8 weeks. Things in our favour?!

Lati is a decent passer but takes far too long to get the ball under control.

Is that not because he played double the amount of games?

The O'Hare in his pomp, before the injury, not the pale shadow we saw ambling about the pitch the other saturday

No the stats take the per 90, so divides them to the a game average.

@shepardo01 if you do opt for the Southern Rail at South Bermondsey, don’t expect to get away in a hurry… I’d rather get out of Car Park A after a game here.

Yeah we went there last season. Good vibe around there but it is expensive and very crowded with tourists

We are also still missing our best player and top GS.

Most weeks we come up against teams with injuries. Hasn’t swung anything in our favour as of yet.

agree. That was a weak Cardiff side we struggled with who had key players missing

5 games in a row we’ve conceded 2 goals or more, this is game we need to put an end to this. We may actually win a game if at least only concede 1 goal!

Dovin
MVE
Thomas
Kitching
Binks
Sheaf
Torp
Rudoni/Eccles
Sakamoto
Simms
EMC

I’d like to see how we get on with Torp at CM, he gets into decent positions in half spaces and think we need more of that as a team. Likewise, Binks at LB if Bidwell is still not 100%.

Surprised people think 1 week of Lampard coaching will see a big difference in this game.
I suspect it will be months and need a couple of significant signings in January.

Hasn't he already scored and assisted as many as O'Hare did in whole seasons with us? Feels like a weird take.

I think we'll see quite the difference.

I expect will see a bit more desire and also better movement off the ball

What I want to see in 1 week is desire, fight, passion, winning the ball first, press, positivity… that can happen.

Rudoni doesn't get you to the edge of your seat like ohare but is certainly effective and hope lampard can bring more out from him

I don’t get the negativity around Rudoni. Probably our best player this season so far. What he has is quality on the ball and a bit of creativity with an eye for goal. He’s also improved our set piece. Great signing for me.

I think Rudoni is a very good player. He may not be as exciting as O'Hare but he can hold the ball and pick a pass, has a better shot that O'Hare. I think he does sometimes seem to disappear in games, I don't know if that's because of tactics or him being unwilling to show for the ball. I tend to watch games on TV rather than live (although I am going to MIllwall) so you do get a different perspective.

Pretty sure you’re messing but you can’t expect everything to be resolved straight away.

It will take time but think we will see improvements. The big one I want to see is us pressing and chasing for 90. For me our squad has the ability but need to show the belief in pushing themselves and I think they will.

Months?

im sorry it does not take months for a coach to have an impact. Months takes you pretty much to the end of the season.

Fuck me I swear if we get relegated this year this place will be full of people saying it’s too early to judge.

No manager has ever had lower expectations than Lampard I swear!

Rudoni is the best we have at finding space and linking play.
He needs someone in CM who is sharp and quick enough to work with him.
Sheaf and Eccles are just to slow, lumbering and negative.

I’d expect to see some impact by Jan. Just generally sick of this that our new signings and coaches aren’t expected to produce for a year but everyone else seems to find ones that hit the ground running.
