If Millwall were playing their huge centre backs, I would have said Saka would have run rings round them. If they arent playing, we need some robustness in that role

MVE Thomas Kitching Binks
Torp Sheaf Rudoni

Obviously won’t happen but intrigues me.

If we're into dropping players after 2 bad games we're going to need to swap about 9 players.

Eccles probably could do with resting more than anything. Been our best midfielder so far this season, but most of the squad looked shattered on Saturday

Don't think we have the balls to go into a bear-pit atmosphere and come away with a win

That being said I feel like Millwall are slightly overachieving and will tail off as the season goes on

Low score draw imo

Do what teams do at the CBS park the bus and catch them on the brake.

A message from my Millwall supporting friend (he's actually a nice guy):

"Honestly mate, I can’t describe how bad these reserves are that will come in. The two centre backs starting next week have played a combined total of 7mins this season. We’re totally fucked as they have no pace whatsoever. Kind of players you beg to not be on the team sheet.
Today’s result was down to Harris negativity. Oxford were absolute shit and there for the taking, but instead of pushing for a second goal he invited them on. I hate it when we play like that as it’s so frustrating to watch as should have gone on and get a second."

"We only ever score 1 so you should be fine
Missing Tanganga at centre back will kill us. Cooper is a massive lose at both ends of the pitch, but Tanganga is a class above any defender at this level.
If I were Harris I’d try and outscore cov but he’ll play 1 up front guaranteed "

Didn’t realize Cooper was out. He’s done well for us in the past

Only slot for Allen in that case would be either Torps or Rudoni. Which in my opinion isn’t what we need Starting wise.

Think he would come in as one of the two central midfielders to help them regain energy.

Defensive reshuffle for me - picking the same isnt working at all - cant be 2 goals a game

Dovin
Lats - Thomas - Kitching - Bidwell
Sheaf - Eccles - Rudoni
Saka - Bassette - EMC

Yes i know Milan is better than Lats (and it wont happen) but thats my pick!

2.1 sneak a win

Hey, we’re all nice guys! Just misunderstood, that’s all.

Your Millwall mate is spot on!

Oxford were the poorest side we’ve played so far this season. Harris started the game with Coburn up top on his own, and when he went off (may have been down to an injury knock) who does he replace him with? Ivanovic, our €3M Serbian striker? Langstaff, who has scored dozens of goals (admittedly in league 2 but he knows where the net is?) No, he brings on Tom Bradshaw, our 32 year old, 5’9 striker, who managed to score a total of 4 goals over a 30 something game spell last season. Your central defenders will have nothing to worry about on Saturday!

Talking of central defenders, Tanganga is serving a 1 match suspension for this game and Jake Cooper is out for around 10 weeks so that should make it easy for your goal shy strikers to bag a couple or three.

If it were me, I’d move Ryan Leonard from RB and pair him at CH with Harding and put Danny McNamara in at RB. I’d have Emakhu and Azeez on the wings, Esse in the 10 role and a combination of 2 from 3 strikers (Coburn/Langstaff/Ivanovic) up top. If Harris did that we could give you a game. We might even win. But he won’t do that. He doesn’t seem to fancy Langstaff or Ivanovic, so it will come as no surprise when we see Bradshaw walking out onto the pitch on Saturday.

3-1 win to Coventry. Guaranteed.

I’m guessing frank watched the sheff Utd Cardiff and Burnley games, as well as what he saw Saturday, expect a lot of changes, if that was them trying to impress the new manager I’d be a bit worried, didn’t expect to come out and start playing like Liverpool but there was no effort that 2nd half, cant see dovin coming in ,kitching and bidwell should start, I’d give Eccles a rest, I’d start Allen if he’s fit, last season it was him and sheaf in the middle when we had a decent run, EMC simms and saka,

Can’t understand all these calls to play Allen. I know we’re shit at the moment but does nobody remember how poor we were start of the season?
I’m still having nightmares about the performance of the midfield at the Stoke game.

Torp must play, he is the only forward thinking midfielder. Time for Eccles to warm the bench. Simms must start. Basette is far to raw and has a lot to do b4 being our main attacking threat. EMC or Asante? Bidwell should come in to add stability at the back. That should do it. Can see a very hard fought game and just the one goal in it. Time for Frank's tactical astuteness to shine...No time for a honeymoon, we need points quickly. Can we get Robin's/Vivash back?

only said Allen because he was in the team that went on our best run last season, him and sheaf in a midfield in a 442 ? he Puts a shift in, and I don’t think Eccles is that much of an improvement on him, good luck frank, theres a decent 11 in that squad , just need to find it and quick

That Cooper would’ve scored so that’s one less goal for them I guess.

About this time last year we won 3-0 at milwall with this team, went on a nice little run after that, and that team didn’t change much,

I wish!

No, I genuinely believe you’ll beat us. You beat us 3-0 last season but as we’re marginally better this season, we will at least score a goal this time!

Look, we’re unbeaten in 9 games, we have our two best CH’s missing and a manager who won’t play two decent strikers (opting to play instead a 32 year old midget).

Oh, and an opposition manager who once played for the Vermin and his No. 2 who used to be our manager last season!

It doesn’t take Mystic Meg to tell you how this game pans out…
