What a fucking joke this country has become, years ago we had weather like this and nobody made a fuss. Now we give the weather a name and suddenly it’s a storm and everything stops and gets disrupted. Thank fuck we don’t get hurricanes and tornadoes, we’d never last more than a couple of days.

Pathetic isn't it. Same with a dusting of snow.

I kind of wish we did have proper severe weather, it'd weed out the weak links in society.

I get your general point, but in this case, winds have peaked at 93mph in parts of the country. That's a fair breeze. You'd have disruption in any country in the world in those conditions.
