As long as Thomas isn't injured ( not sure why subbed) then I'm happy to have looked better second half and avoided any injuries. Not fussed about losing ( as long as we turn up on Saturday.

It’s not a disaster going out of this cup, although Doug would have loved a good draw in the next round and a bonus pay day I’m sure. The disappointment is the failure of most of non first players to make any real impact. Simms, Bidwell and Allen all poor. Rudoni, Wright and Torp different class when they came on. Da Silva got some good crosses in. Brau looked good pushed further forward. Not a disaster at all, just disappointing not to keep the momentum going, and I worry about out strength in depth when injuries etc hit.

I know this game doesn't matter, and the second half performance generally was reasonable, but the manner of the goals that we give away really piss me off.

We've essentially conceded two goals to a team that barely carried a goal threat, and that's not that unusual. The defending at set-plays is really, really poor. We're not challenging unless we sort that out.

Also, all of our own corners are looped in. No variety and easy to defend.
