Coventry City striker Shaun Miller has joined League One side Crawley Town on loan until December 28th.

The 27-year-old, who joined the club in the summer following a successful trial, has made 12 appearances for the Sky Blues this season, scoring two goals, one against Cardiff City in the Capital One Cup and the other in League One against Bristol City.

Miller, who has had spells with Crewe and Sheffield United, will join up with John Gregory's Crawley squad ahead of the Red Devils' home game against Chesterfield on Saturday.

Shame I thought if anyone he has been not really given a chance. Scored a couple but never given a look in. I wonder why?

Good luck to him ,not really been given the Game time to Flourish here .

The fact he managed to bag a couple In the few truncated appearances he's made ,suggests he may succeed with them.

Yes he probably smiled too much. but fair play to him he came and tried. Rather wish we got rid of Jackson and tudgay and kept miller tbh.

Do we put miller down as another failed SP signing? I'm sure there is a list somewhere. It's a growing list btw

Has to go down as yet another Pressley flop although I've been quite impressed when I've seen him play. Didn't he say something ridiculous like 'he's one of the best finishers I've ever seen' when he signed?!

He will score a load of goals at Crawley, it is just bound to happen.

His finishing does look decent to be fair (apart from that one against Cardiff)

Must have been one of Team Banished that Pressley was referring to. Says a lot about Pressley for him to have misjudged the character of so many players at one time.

I don't think he was even in the squad for the Worcester debacle.

He made the bench for the Notts County and Colchester game, I think this was one more due to the player wanting to play in the first team than banishing Miller.

Never given a chance. How can you score if you aren't on the pitch?

It's straight forward really he was recruited for the "Sixfields Budget ".

Yet scored a decent goal at the Ricoh when he got his chance.

Oh don't get me wrong ,I don't think he's had a fair Crack, especially given the failure of the one's recruited for the RICOH budget.

Think Pressley gave an Interview after about six weeks of the season and stated he would only be a bit part player

I am not sure if he is more of an off the bench player but he does seem to be a bit more clinical than McQuoid.

I wonder if he had a falling out with Pressley too?

Don't think he has Nick ,most likely asked to go out as the situation changed re Numbers well after his signing .

He may have been selected with a view to be second/third choice striker ,then there were suddenly 3 more ahead of him.
