Big game Accrington v Swindon tonight.
Draw with injuries / red cards please. Or loads of injuries and abandoned late in the second half!
Want Notts County to go to extra time tomorrow night at Swansea, same with Newport with a few more injuries / red cards sprinkled about.
I remember David Ginoa laughing at Jimmy Hill during a world Cup game where he praised the Rumanian football team for all having their hair bleached blond, as it made it easier for them to spot each other for the passes. Important to gain the small percentage advantages. Ginola laughed, but I'm coming round to JH's view. All of these other games involving L2 clubs , I'm trying to 'will' advantages towards my beloved Sky Blues1 anybody else the same?

Maybe Robins should replace the players shower gel with sky blue hair dye.

Logically we should be hoping for draws in matches between our rivals so that they only share 2 points instead of 3. If that happens tonight, we'll go above Accrington when we beat them by 2 clear goals on Saturday. Well, I can dream .......

Yep, same here, but I find myself not wishing too much cruel luck, so have gone with hoping they all get ingrowing toenails on their kicking foot and pink eye.

I don't mind a bit of cruel luck within reason. Maybe all of their players can get the shits or a viral infection that lasts until the end of the season.

11 players with the shits would be good. Would hardly be noticeable on the Ricoh pitch on Saturday.

Oh, also forgot Lincoln have a Checkatrade game tonight, then away at Cambridge on Friday - a plague of locusts their way too, please.

We need to concentrate on ourselves. Pointless looking at everyone elses results if we then go and lose. but agree a few injuries /suspensions sure does help!

I would concentrate on ourselves, but unfortunately though we don't play tonight, so a plague on all their houses and pox upon their scabby nobs.

If Accrington vs Swindon isn’t a Draw, what’s the 2nd best result...Swindon Win? Keeps it tight? They would have played a game more than us also.

Preferred results a Draw foremost, then a Swindon Win, which also means act won’t be as confident for Saturday.

Yeah. Accrington will be bouncing if they win again tonight. Draw probably best.

Lincoln should and will batter Chelsea U21, be happy to see the last u21 team knocked out, be a farce if Chelsea get to Wembley.

1-0 to Accrington.

A win puts them 5 points clear of us.

Swansea 2 up already, cant see county getting extra time there (bound to end a draw now and go to pens). Lets go with injuries and a morale damaging 8-0 loss.

Accrington won’t keep this up. I hope.

Swindon are a better team than them. Swindon will be just one point ahead of us with not a great goal difference.
And they play Mansfield on Saturday.

I hope Lincoln win, if Chelsea U21 qualify it really does devalue the competition. Lincoln have never been to Wembley so good luck to them

Attendance at Accrington. 1,243. This will include a few Swindon, so may well be under1,000 Accrington fans. That is poor

1,243 at Accrington

Incredible how they not only survive but look down on us from 2nd place as it stands.

Jeez....

2-1. An equaliser now would be perfect.

Marc Richards scored his 4th for Swindon in 5 games.

Scores for fun at this level

Lincoln winning - not sure if I,m happy about this or not - extra game for them, but I'd have liked the FLeague embarrassed by an U23 side at Wembley v Fleetwood in front of less than 10,000

Surprised Chelsea can get a team together the amount of players they have out on loan

Quite like Swansea to hit at least 8 now - may well rattle N County's confidence and cause a nice row or two amongst players!
