Possible teams to be playing in the Championship from the Midlands area;

Coventry
Villa
Leicester
Wolves
Birmingham
Nottingham Forest
Derby County
....Mk Dons? Do they count?

Either way, could be an absolute belter of a season next season, there'll be some money spent on away days

8 teams there, 1/3rd of the entire league

(assuming it happens)

Talk of us getting promoted is premature...I'd settle for a play-off place and an automatic push next season

Agree... minor amendment...a play-off place(and succeed) and an Automatic promotion the year after...

Plus it is realistic that

We don't get promised this year, mk dons miss out through the play offs, villa avoid relegation, Birmingham could get relegated, Leicester and forest could get promoted

So the championship could just have derby and wolves.

Apart from MK Dongs, I remember this list of teams being in the top flight a few years ago!
