QPRs 22/23 crumble doesn’t really count as they were only top for two weeks. Cardiff 06/07 is still the all time Championship crumble, game 20/21 they dropped off. If we win then we can’t drop off before game 21, meaning we’d need to become the all time crumble champions to fuck it up from there.

It's also when Beale fucked them over by going to Rangers. And having, according to QPR fans, run Chair and Willock into the ground.

Of course we will go into every game believing we will win. But that's the team. The players and the manager.

We as fans, are different. I am always pretty confident to be honest, but do think Tuesday will be tough. Would feel a lot more positive if we hadn't given away two very sloppy goals yesterday.

I think yesterday's errors at the back will be sorted.. it was uncharacteristic.. a tough game tomorrow but our attitude is spot on right now and we should secure a win..

I've noticed before this season that Dasilva struggles on 3 games a week. Tuesday will be 4 for him...

Morning Coventry - Don't think i have posted on here since our Play Off fixture.

I have no idea how we are still second, it say's more about the teams below us rather than how good we have been - frankly, we have been poor for a few weeks now. The positives are we seem to be able to grab a point and get back into games which we couldn't under Carrick and defensively we are much stronger.

Its the attack that is proving a problem. We just do not create enough chances, we haven't found the right formula and what started as a positive - having options is now working against us.

Its the perfect game to reignite our early season form but i'm struggling to see how we stop you.

New manager will be in the stands as he arrived last night but Adi will still be in charge.

We have a few fitness tests but expect the team to look something like the following:

Brynn

Brittain
Ayling
Jones
Targett*

Morris
Hackney

Whittaker
Nypan
McGree

Conway

Or

The same defence

Browne
Hackney
Morris

Whitaker
McGree
Conway

Safe journey to those travelling, weather is grim.

Title is wrong on this one mate. It's defo tonight.

If you leave now, you'll make it in good time and have time to navigate the big roadworks just outside Middlesbrough.

Safe journey mate.

Saw this on Facebook earlier and would make for a good chant tomorrow night:

Last Christmas we hired Lampard,
But the very next May, we threw it away,
This year to save us from tears,
we're gonna go up as Champions

I'd go same starting 11 as Saturday. With Grimes, Torp and Eccles hopefully we win the midfield battle against a very good centre midfield of Hackney and Morris. At Wrexham against a good midfield 3 we got overran in midfield with BTA staying higher up the pitch. Rudoni probably not quite fit enough for a start tomorrow but a very good option off the bench along with BTA.

I think so as well. Just need to make sure we stay compact when moving up and down the field. Cant afford to leave gaps in midfield and get overrun. Reading posts on other forums, many feel quick counter attacks are the way to beat us.

I’m not sure if BTA comes in for Eccles or not. We were hit on the counter twice v WBA and that was with a 3 man midfield.

Gut feeling is a 4-4-2 because Simms deserves a run in the team. Aside from his goal, he got an assist v Stoke and even Torp’s goal v WBA, Simms put enough pressure on their defender that he shanked the header. BTA and Simms have made a good partnership in previous years so get them both in.

Go 1-0 up, bring Rudoni and Eccles on to shore up the team and hopefully get another goal or two.

You can take your all time crumble championship trophy and stick it where the sun doesn’t shine mate!

It’s a good thing! The more teams we pass without crumbling the less likely we will. Already beaten Sunderland last year, which is the one I really fear. No playoffs please.

Speaking of crumbles, does anyone genuinely like the fruit part or, like me, just eat the sugary crumble topping?

I wonder how many more times we'll have a different 2nd place team to beat, who else can make the jump up to 2nd??
Maybe only Bristol or possibly Preston, so not looking so bad. Ipswich 13 points and goal difference +++ behind?? nah not for me.

I'd agree if we can park the apple slop to the side and crack on with crumble and cream

I definitely 'accidentally' get more of the crumble than the fruit part when scooping it out of the baking tray. Oops, how careless of me!

If going away to second in the league is our theoretical toughest fixture, I wonder how many times that has happened twice in a row before? I guess it would be going away to top of the league most seasons, but obviously we can't do that at the moment!

To be fair the midfield wasn't really at fault this time.

3 game weeks always worry me with our squad depth. Players will be knackered for this one and no Haji limits our attacking options further. Would snap your hand off for a point.
