I reckon we will do well next season especially with the strength in depth I think we have.
What do u think where will we finish in the league?

Some people from other teams think we're gona be dark horses and push for playoffs, me I would be happy with 20th or higher,

Could be the surprise team this season, I'm feeling much more confident now with those last couple of signings, we just need another CDM to complete the squad.

Not for me, bottom half finish maybe 16th/17th... But we will keep improving over the season and the following season push on to mid table top 10

People really are underestimating how strong this league is

We’ve got a few things going for us, so I think we may survive this season. I’d live for us to be mid table, but a lot of promoted teams have struggled with the step up. That said, around the bottom of the table there is a lot of dysfunctional teams. In the end, I’d take anything above 22nd!

I’d be happy with a season of consolidation and a mid table finish. But occasionally I think sod it we are on the crest of a wave, it’s inevitable we are gonna get promoted

I was trying to find a few prediction tables, just to get a flavour of how others see us, and 17th seemed to be the average position. That was before Ostegard and Walker signed, but I still think that feels about right.

Slightly off topic, just wondering who was the last team to get promoted from league one to the Championship, then following season promoted to the Premier league?

First season back will be all about consolidation. It's a very tough division with some good teams in it and some who know the Championship well. We will have to settle in as we haven't played at this level for awhile, so I expect a fair few defeats but we may also surprise many with good performances and a few good wins.
Mid table will in my opinion be a great first season back, and then push on from there.

Brentford I think will walk this league next season, then we have the ex Prem sides plus teams like Derby Forest, the list could go on, so if we can get in the top half I'll be happy, estactic and surprised if anything higher.

Get a top quality DM in and I’d push the boat out and say 10th, copy the L1 model and push on second season (and win the league ). Get in a gamble and maybe 17th (our old position).

Very happy with the quality throughout the squad at the moment other than at DM, ideally I’d sign two but I doubt that’ll happen.

If SISU get us back to 17th in the Championship can we just pretend the whole thing never happened?

No chance. I would wager that as well. Being put on a stool and gun pointing to my head I would say 16th place finish

If this time next season we are playing championship football again then great, job done. But I do believe we can surprise a few teams this season. We have a way if playing something we lacked severely in our last 3 or 4 seasons in the Championship last time. And a much better team.
