Does anyone remember when mick scored direct from a corner kick? I believe we won 4:0. But did mick get a Garrick that day? And who did we play? I should know this cos I was there. But all I really remember was muck playing a blinder......

Not wishing to be pedantic (!!!), but I think it was 4-1.

I have a memory of the scoreboard on the Kop reading "Ferguson 4 Ipswich 1".

It was all the sweeter because Ipswich had been interested in signing Fergie and before the game Bobby Robson had said he wanted to " see how Ferguson does against my defence" before making a decision.........
