Anyone hear him on CWR? All a bit cloak and daggers still for me when asked "who do you owe money to?".

He made a point of saying he didn’t want to name names and then a few minutes later said that Clive Platt was the one who pointed him in the direction of the dodgy person x who led him down the path on the nightclub venture.

Has he got a book out or something? Why the sudden urge to get heard?

Still remember these.

He was really good at Bristol City, shame he necer replicated that form for us. One of the most disappointing signings we have ever made.

My thoughts exactly! Very strange that he suddenly emerges out of the woodwork.

He must have had his mind elsewhere when he was here.

Yep, Ashley Cain also.

If I remember most of the youth team from that time were all there.

They must have thought they were the Wolf of Wall Street. Now they're mostly turning out in non league doing normal day jobs.

Does anybody in here know what that strange Michael McIndoe song was about that used to happen in the Telegraph stand?

It was a bit strange, about 5 or 6 blokes would say his name over and over again and dance about. Reminded me of some sort of sun dance, but I put it down to too many beers or a blast on a crack pipe before the game

Are you saying you thought you were hallucinating and imagining it due to you having a crack pipe before the game??? That's how it reads, anyway!

He was the only one I could name. Mind you, they all look a bit 'shadey'.

Listened to it last night and he was pretty careful with his words when talking about people who'd lost money. Sounded like a load had lost the money but not bothered chasing it up as they knew they get nothing.
More neck than a giraffe sprung to mind.

I dunno what they're all celebrating for, is it the 3:1 guys to girls ratio?!

No sympathy for any of the greedy fuckers who lost out. Caveat emptor.

Wouldn't go that far. He got 7 or 8 assists so was far more effective than many others.

In my mind he was going to rampage down the wings and score 15 for the season on his own - hence my comment "one of the most disappointing", as I'd set high expectations in my mind - I didn't say "one of the worst", which as you rightly say, he wasn't.
