Yes I appreciate he's trying, I don't underestimate his commitment or his passion.Hard game for our leader today Im afraid.
Ideally we would have better options available.
Appreciate Doyler is trying his best.
I'd put money on a relegation battle. It would be like bigi and Stevenson all over againPersonally i would luv to see Shipley in the centre role replacing Doyle alongside Bayliss,i think he would be perfect for the role.
He’s also completed the most passes in league one with 80% completion, pretty good going for a 37 year old
Because they're mainly pointless little 1-2s with the centre halves, or his favourite one is drifting over to left back and playing him and brown into a tunnel and losing the ballHe’s also completed the most passes in league one with 80% completion, pretty good going for a 37 year old
Do you unsterstand possession based football? Triangle football is the easiest way to make space for anyone, that’s what we do, then look for a ball over the top or turn the full backs. Not complicated stuff, but without Doyle it wouldn’t work so far this season.Because they're mainly pointless little 1-2s with the centre halves, or his favourite one is drifting over to left back and playing him and brown into a tunnel and losing the ball

This is the type of nonsense Cov fans come out with.
Doyle is the engine to the team, is essential to the way we play. When he comes short for goal kicks he offers space for someone further up the pitch. It works better with Baylis alongside as he seems to know where to pick up the ball. It allows the attacking plays more space to offer for a second ball.
Granted today he did get caught out of position and got turned a few times, but he was still the first man there. He looks a little flat footed sometimes but to say his legs are gone is ridiculous.
We’d be half the team we are without him.
I wouldn’t regard him as our weak link, defensively we’ve not won a lot in the air the last few games which has hampered us. Ogogo hasn’t really helped the team out either, we miss sterling most definitely too.The problem is, while Doyle is irreplaceable with the plays we have got, he's also been our weak link for the past few games.
I certainly wouldn't drop him, but it's my biggest concern at the moment.
Directly involved in the first and 3rd goal for them. Without Kelly there is no obvious replacement for him, Ogogo is very disappointing.
Seems to be coming up every week now “Doyle’s legs have gone”.
Where have they gone? Has someone blown them offf with a shotgun? Maybe it was Robert Page!
As usual we need a fall guy for a bad result/performance so the knives are out. Remind me again-who was responsible for one, maybe two goals today?
