If they thought he wasn't going to get it bookies would be more than willing to take money off mug punters.

Sign that they know something if they stop taking bets on somebody they might end up losing money on.

As others have stated, someone being removed from the betting is the sign they dont want to take any more bets, not that that candidate doesnt have a chance.

I thought the whole reason he'd popped up in the betting was due to somewhere someone betting a huge amount on him. But I was banking on that person being wrong. What worries me is that the Pompey monthly contracts are up soon, they could decide to get rid of everyone including the manager and start again, or he might have had enough of it there and applied for our job at the last minute...please let it not be so.
