Sweden win 2-1 - Gyokeres has quiet game and is taken off after 68 mins.
Not injured - simply replaced.
Thank god he didn’t score a hat-trick - the clamour to sign him in the next window would intensify even more!!

Thought he was pretty good. Played quite well with his back to goal. Less of a threat down the channels mainly due to defenders being stronger and quicker and more mobile. Lept well for a header that went a few inches over

Go on Vik.

When was the last time that we had a player starting a match for a decent level international team?

Here's a pretty thorough list. Looks like Leo Ostigard was the last before Vik.

One name they missed though was Robert Jarni

Was about a toenail away from netting, but went through to his teammate for the opener.

Doubt Croatia played a game in the week that Jarni was our player

Vik has started a few for Sweden. From what I've seen of him in a Sweden shirt he normally does OK. He bullied Norway when he came on in his last game, made Isak look basic. He was more an impact sub.

All his best bits where off the left which is no surprise. Was he a LW for brighton?
