I don't live locally so do not know any season ticket holders from 2012/13. Have they walked away from the club, or are they waiting for the queues to die down and purchase in the week? Just wondered what the consensus is?

No rush, they are being held until Friday.

Probably all unable to access their online accounts so had to make new ones and have bought tickets already.

Waiting for the online system to work, or on holiday. That accounts for me and those who sit next to me.

Given they only went on sale on Wednesday they should be given a little more time before putting them up for general sale for Fridays game only.

I'm back from hols today but won't be renewing. My dad has decided not to go, lost the desire during the season away after 50 years of going, sad. We will be there for the gills game, and the odd game after until I get my date through - im waiting for op on my ankle and will be on crutches for 3-6 months so would be a waste. Will prob renew next year. Can't speak for the other 3998.

For the Gillingham game the reserved season tickets are being held until match day and then being sold for Fridays match if still not purchased

After the match i imagine they will go back to being reserved

best let the club know, they've asked for any of the 4000 not taking their seat for Gillingham to email them!

Just back in the country for the first time since they went on sale.

Looking to take 2 others to the Gills game so possibly won't be getting my old seat and haven't made a decision about renewing the ST as a whole yet.

I don't think the situation is being helped by the demands on the booking system. On logging in and clicking the 'Choose Seats' option yesterday, I was shown an option to buy my 2012/13 ST seat. The seat was showing as reserved in the stadium view. Tried a number of times to do this but the checkout value was showing as zero, so I gave up and bought a ticket elsewhere in the same block. When I logged on this morning it was allowing me to purchase my ST seat, which I did. So, I may have a spare ticket available.

The point is, if you are not going to renew or take the seat for the Gills game, email the club and tell them to release it. That is what I will be doing today. I bought match tickets for Gillingham, and will probably renew ST after the Yeovil game.

My old seat still shows as reserved for me on line despite having moved it last week...some double seat blocking going on I suspect.

? Think I said that I ended up buying a Gills match ticket for my old seat, as well? Simply that the system wouldn't allow me to do this yesterday.

My reply wasn't aimed at you, I was just making a general point. I am aware that the online system is shagged.

If you knew your seat was being reserved why would you join 3 hour queues in all the madness. You are just going to hold out if you can ? I expect 3000 of these 4000 will be renewed by the end of the week.

At least you know they always keep their word. They would never start selling the reserved seats early if all the rest was sold out.....would they?

Wouldn't it be great if Mr Waggott could explain the whole procedure for getting a ticket for the Gills match & how to renew season ticket? What the delay is, why certain blocks are not released?

What is Ticket Manager Karen Bennett paid for?

Post from another thread:

I had season tickets in the Telegraph stand.

Given that we were told that it would be closed, I bought other tickets for Friday's game.

I emailed the club this morning to ask them to put my "old seats" on general sale and have already had a reply from the club confirming that they would.

Could I just encourage anyone else in the same position to email the club at info@ccfc.co.uk and let them know - get a few more seats on sale!

The club are back. Stop bleating. If they hadn't made the cheap offer there would not be the stampede that there is. Next Saturday will be fine anyway. What's the problem? Go then.

The ticket manager is paid for many things - including, no doubt, having to liaise with useless, whining, moaning imbeciles. I wish her well and I'm sure she is performing it with a lot more diplomacy than I could.

Yeah, I think it's the £10/£5 which has caused the stampede. I understand everyone wants to go to the Gillingham game, but I'm sure it will settle once the euphoria of our return has subsided a bit.

Are they doing the finance deal? Got several rather expensive items coming up and can't really afford to blow £300 at once right now.

They're also doing the thing where you can buy tickets in blocks of games for cheaper than buying individually, which is what was referred to when they said they'd help with alternatives.
