Due to the scenes in London and elsewhere this week, social gatherings seem to be allowed without any comeback so to speak.

So, just to test the water, who would be keen on a gathering at the Memorial Park next saturday? Flares, beers, music, numerous renditions of cov songs to celebrate a first league title in 54 years.

Memorial park has enough room to social distance and allow other people to swerve it if they don't want to be part of it

May get shot down, and as i say, just seeing what the general consensus would be.

So because the idiots in London have got away with it purely down to police being soft handed we can do the same ?
Whether they are stopped or not the whole point of social gatherings being prevented is to stop people dying whether it is enforced or not Is irrelevant so its a NO from me because personally if you do you are a selfish irresponsible person who has no regard for the law

I'd love a huge celebration but there's no way social distancing would be maintained.

Prime Cov to finally win the league and get back in the Championship and not be able to have a celebration.

Exactly the same. Since the 'relaxation' I would have loved to have gone out with the kids to the coast for the day or any local place of beauty, but I still reserve that element of respect for the people who live in these communities and I wouldn't want to be one of the selfish fuckers who potentially heap shit on their doorstep (or bring it back to my own or others.)
Bought a bottle champers the other day (I don't even like the stuff) and if things go as they should, I will be forcing the stuff down to a background sound track of The Specials, The Selecter, Primitives, Frank Ifield, King (maybe), Adorable (remember them?) And most of Terry Hall's incarnations. (Apologies to any other Coventry associated performers I may have omitted - but I probably never liked you)
In my own back garden. (weather permitting)

Stay at home with a bottle of Champagne. I will be drinking one like the bottle on the left if we are promoted. I may also take a sip or two out of the bottle in the right.

Whatever the UK police do with these demos they can't win
The subject is so emotive they can't be heavy handed in trying to disperse peaceful protesters
And when the inevitable opportunists take the chance to get violent and attack they have to largely take it on the chin

If a marching protest can be met with such commendation as it seems to have been today, I really don’t see why we couldn’t do the same, in celebration.

Then again, as it’d be football fans, we’d probably be called typical football thugs.

I think with social distancing rules there is no better time to bring two life sized cardboard cutouts each to the party if it is in Broadgate.

it would be a grand photo opportunity not to be missed to make a statement.

Socially distance? How? Far fives and the slowest Mexican wave in history? Several renditions of in our Coventry masks? How on earth would it work?

The Liam Kelly /Michael Doyle song, Oh, oh, oh, we got no-one in the middle.

Mark, Marco, show us your gloves, Marco, show us your gloves.

I think we should celebrate by driving up jimmy hill way in convoy to the Ricoh and back then send a video of our celebrations to our friends up in the north east

Since Dominic Cummings broke the rules without repercussions they’ve become been meaningless.

We need to get this organised I reckon the most sensible one is to stick scarves on the car and beep up and down sky blue way and the a444 in a convoy
