Meet Sky Blue Legends TONIGHT - Saturday 1 March

The Coventry City Former Players Association is having a meeting today - Saturday 1 March - and after that's finished fans are invited along to meet the likes of Ian Goodwin, Ronnie Farmer, Dave Bennett, Micky Gynn, Peter Hormantschuk, Bob Wesson and Brian Nicholas. There is no charge and it will just be an informal event, the chance to chat to some true Sky Blue Legends. Fans are invited along at 7.30pm to The Squirrel CV1 2GY

Handing out petition leaflets in Bedworth this morning may not be the most popular event of all time but not a single comment about a Legends evening? Are the accounts really more interesting than this??

Some of the things he and Ron Farmer told us that went on would make the modern day players scared to walk onto the pitch lol

Some of the things that go on off the pitch now would probably amaze them...

I agree, they were real characters and more than happy to sit and chat about all the old days, some of them maybe getting on a bit but had us laughing.
They are keen to do more of these little events as for some of the older players these smaller gatherings are all they have left on the football side.

They do shame they really do support and live in the City they miss their football Club.
Some asking us what we thought was going to happen should see the hurt in their eyes, loosing there friends their football club their lives.[

And as for Benno what a character top top man.
