I remember someone doing this once in one of the off topic threads and getting caught out, was quite funny.I ain’t clever enough to run more than one account, I’d forget to log into the alt and just reply to my own comments as me

Occasionally they have an 'argument' to make it look authentic, but it is very transparent, as are the deliberate spelling mistakes to try and throw people off.
Whilst it is a bit sad, it becomes less funny when the main account posts mental health advocacy as the alt is runs around on some threads stalking people, lambasting them, and making jokes about sensitive subjects - of which some people have had a lot of courage to open up about.
A bit of banter is good, but it becomes pretty toxic at times and this kind of thing is a stain on the forum which needs stamping out. That's not a pop at the admins, they have a really tough task policing this place at times, but do a great job for the most part keeping this place a fun and interesting place to discuss football and non-footballing topics.

Does this alt account only weigh in when I’m talking to posters who are threatening to call the police on me? I have all kinds of terrible takes on the football threads which could do with the extra support, seems like a waste of effort.Shut that door Everhard
