Can anyone who went tonight confirm (or deny) that McGoldrick was our best player? That's seemed to be the impression that BBC CWR were giving.

If so, then how come an on-loan player put more of an effort in compared to our full-time* players?

* I use the term loosely when our full-time players only turn up for 20 minutes per game.

He was our best player, but hes like a murderer in a room full of paedophiles.. No credit deserved for any of them.. I have never left a game so early.. Think of us playing awful.. Times it by 2, then double it.. That's how woeful they were.

Once again he was the only one who seemed to be trying. Felt he should have been allowed to the the pen as he deserved a goal. Lots of running, and effort, but no one supporting him. Was one moment where he chased down a lost ball, played a good ball into the box, and there was one defender there to pick it up (not literally). Even he will get pissed off sooner rather than later!

Bet R's not even involved in the 'bonus' disputes as he's only on loan but still finds time to put the effort in.

He must be thinking "WTF?!? I'm trying harder then players who are contracted to play here!"

Good point about the bonus nonsense going on. Can't wait until the loan window opens, it may be our only hope.

McGoldrick was on his own tonight. Elliott, like a chocolate teapot, absolutely useless. Not a goal threat. Adam Barton should be bombed out. Edjenguele, Wood was covering for him all night. Jennings, after a tidy start in first couple of games is shown up, one paced, unimaginative, nosebleed past the halfway line, awful, get rid.
Shrewsbury were just no nonsense and direct.
Gally got it about right. Just totally humiliated. Awful. A nightmare.
