With the offside rule does it count from when the ball is kicked in this instance or from when it hits the post?

It should be from when ball is kicked, irrelevant wether it hits the post I believe

True, but was sheff interfering with play? It was given by the lino there, so it was a judgment call by the ref. This one, I watched the lino after and he looked like he was just about to leg it back to the halfway line, then decided to give the offside. He guessed, which he shouldn't have done. But hey, you win some, you lose some. We've just got to move onto the next game and put it right!

The correct term is "Fecking Referees Assistant".

We don't want to offend anyone.

Yeah we got the one at Colchester, but that was the correct decision..

Also maintained at the time he was never offside, he's not even that close to being offside! The linesman down that side was abysmal the whole 2nd half

Gutted, it wasn't even touch and go. He was clearly onside

With regards to the question about hitting the post, I doubt even 90% of the officials know the rules properly

He guessed or the ref queried through the earpiece.

decisions even themselves up over the course of the season, he was offside against colchester that wasn't given and we secured a win so it evened up yesterday stuff happens

Either way damn lino's guessing! Like I said though, got to put it right next game.

And sbg, I'm still waiting for us to be given a goal that isn't then (Sheff Utd game!)

I long for the days when we couldn't analyze every decision. I agree with you, win some lose some, and I m sure the players won t dwell on it. Shame because a win on Saturday would have been awesome but a great week regardless

Just going to question something, the stats that come up at the end of a game on sky sports video, how accurate is It?, I'm sure we had more than 6 attempt's on goal?

i was right in front of the goal like 2 rows up and i can tell you for a fact that Rocha was in front of Goldie, therefore the goal was onside

I think its rubbish about these things even themselves up when your at the bottom nothing goes for you , when your at the top end of the league teams always get the rub of the green.

maybe as they say you make your own luck
