Just saw the FGR highlights and saw he missed his pen. I mean...noone really gives a shit about that competition but he's had an absolute stinker of a couple of weeks and that will probably not have made it better for him.

Interested to see how he bounces back, a real test of character. Hope he smashes it!

Played ok last night (a miss in a penalty shoot out shouldn't really be held against him - especially in this competition; Champions League final - different!)

Think some time out to reflect will be good. Unless Hyam and Rose have a mare in the next few games he won’t walk back into the team and will need to prove himself.

He had a decent enough game last night lets not forget Hyam had s stinker when we lost 6-1 a couple of seasons back and he is rated now so lets not give up on him just yet

I might be wrong, but I'm pretty sure he wasn't signed for his penalty taking! He took the 9th penalty so I don't think we can hold it against him too much. After the first few games you'd think we signed John Terry, now after a bad game or two he should be dropped? I think he does add experience and that physical presence needed in league one. And that's it, we are in league one where players are not always consistent. As you go up the leagues it's not just ability but consistency. We have all seen players in league one dominate a game but go missing for the next 5.

Literally, his experience is vital to the team!!! He's deffo been our best defender so far this season, just wish he'd cleared it instead of pissing around twice Saturday

They only thrashed us 6-2, not 6-1 (if you mean Yeovil!)

We all know that he had a nightmare on Saturday and missing a penalty last night probably topped his week off for him. He knows that..... and it's not going to be helpful to him or the team to vilify the guy.
Next time he plays - lets give him our support.

I was more surprised that he took one so late rather than actually missing. He was the pantomime villain to the FGR fans after a couple of minor skirmishes, so it was all set up for him to miss really, but as an experienced senior player, in a fairly meaningless competition, I'd like to have seen him take responsibility a little sooner. Perhaps not in the 5 if he's not so proficient (although any player should really fancy his chances in a shoot out) but perhaps in at eg 6th.

He took some unnecessary flak before that, I guess due to the last couple of mediocre performances, but although FGR didn't offer much by way of an attacking threat, he was far from the worst player on our team last night. The front three were woeful. I wont hang some of the kids out as they're still learning at this level, but Baka really should have taken this chance to stake a claim and he was again dreadful. I also expected Kelly to boss the middle and dictate the play in there, but he looked a bit short at times. Wakefield before his injury (made of glass!) offered very little and I fail to see what he adds, I can't see him being here past this season unless he really steps up. Zain was probably the pick of the bunch in the middle and Wilson did nothing wrong in goal, but I'd like to have seen a few banging on the door to try and be included Sunday.

How can he be the worst player? I'd say the attacking players played worse considering we scored no goals but kept a clean sheet

Jesus, who is holding it against him? I said noone gives a shit about the competition, but im sure he will hold it against himself especially when in the context of the last 2 weeks.

We just need to play to his strengths. He’s not John Stones and if he doesn’t like the ball played to him under pressure then we shouldn’t.

Heard a few boos when he stepped up to take his penalty, that wouldn't have helped him.
Don't agree with booing our own players at all. Need to support them.

He was in the 5 against Walsall and took a terrible penalty so no surprise he was low down the list.

It was more of a surprise that Kastaneer didn't take one.

I saw John Stones playing for England against the Netherlands in June - didn't he give away two goals by doing what McFadzean does?

Otherwise I agree with you. I wish McFadzean would just launch it.

I am not sure our most error prone defender who has given away a few penalties and also got away with some dodgy play at the back can be put ahead of Mason who has been excellent this season and has significantly improved his game.

It's a bit easier to forgive mistakes from youngsters, knowing they'll most likely improve. But mistakes from an aging centre back are slightly different!

The reason he’s not playing for England is he’s made too many mistakes doing what McFadz does...both are not good at it

McFadz had a poor game v Rotherham, it happens, wasn’t on his own. Lets all move on, as for missing a pen in a shoot out so what, so do called world superstars do that.

The reason he’s not playing for England is that he’s injured.
