I agree with others, when they suggested that he would be great for the tip of our diamond.

I feel this season, we have missed that final ball and I player like McFadden has the flair to deliver.

But with the constraint on potential wages for players, I think Cov fans need to think that this deal won't happen.

If he wanted to stay in the Championship why not stay with Birmingham? He will be after another Prem team.

Can we pay more than a Scottish Prem side? Because it sounds from that quote that wages were the major sticking point, isn't that why he left Birmingam? Because he wanted more money than they could offer?

Blues cut the wages of the squad - hence why they lost so many....

....Worth remembering that even though they felt the couldn't afford McFadden, they could out bid our wage offer for King...still think we'll sign him?

Not heard anymore since the offer was made to his agent in the summer, but even then it was more a polite enquiry to see if he would be willing to drop his wages to fit in to our wage scheme. Personally I don't thik it will happen now and if anything I think he will end up at one of the higher championship clubs
