There are a number of clear and obvious factors why we're miles behind them. Pre early 2000s fine but after that, no chance.

Rubbish, same success for both clubs and there is no real difference in support.

Bet the Norwich fans who come scrolling across our forum are laughing at most of you lot, you sound salty as anything 3m has made up the shortfall of this season + a decent budget for the summer if he fails he fails bit he won't struggle getting another club, he is clearly talented otherwise we would of never got him from the bardy academy in the first place.

What? When have we ever averaged over 20k in the last 15-20 years?

Exactly the same number of times we've been in the Premier League in the last 20 years.

Give both clubs comparable success so you're comparing like for like and there is no real difference in support. Same for quite a few clubs really in "our bracket".

After being relegated from the Championship they had 24,000 avg in League One.

They have very large season ticket renewals regardless of what league they’re in - something we don’t have

And how long did they spend in League One?

They had promotions, relegations, always something to fight for, unlike us who had constant deterioration & depression for almost two decades.

The only time you can compare is when like for like we were doing similarly, after that they had the benefit of success plus the Premiership "product", we had nothing.

Put us in similar situations and there is very little difference between what we would pull in and what they do.

Maddison moved to Norwich when they were in the Championship. He's done OK. Also, try not to be a total dick. Ta!

Has anyone noticed that CT have attempted to lace hints of animosity within some of their articles recently - almost like they're trying to subtly push negative connotations into some stories to spread division. E.g. McCallum 'revelation' as posted above - basically inferring that the club got a raw deal on the sale, and training ground revamp - essentially saying that the training ground will be crap compared to Championship clubs. These are the only two recent articles I've read so I could be well off the mark - I know they're traditionally biased and heavily in the anti-SISU camp.

I won't often read the CT articles anymore as 99% are clearly clickbait so they may have been doing this for a while or not at all.... but it seems like these subtle negative comments have been ramping up recently. I might keep a close eye when I can - I'm interested to to see see what lines are pushed in their upcoming stories.

To be fair, it’s in the interests of both clubs to play down the fee

But for the reasons stated, we aren't as big a club as Norwich. If we had a middle eastern billionaire in charge we'd be top of the Premier League but we don't so here we are.

You're talking about ifs, buts and maybes...easier to just look at the facts.

I always used to think of Norwich, Southampton and ourselves as very similar clubs. We're certainly the odd one out now though.

‘Non-League to the Premier League in 18 months’. He won’t be kicking a ball in the Premier League if still with Norwich until at least 2021/22. The good old media love any excuse for an exaggeration.

The most surprising thing about that video clip,is that Delia Smith doesn’t appear to be pissed!

Genuinely can’t believe that people think a 10 year yo-yo premier league club aren’t bigger than us.

If our club hadn't been run as a basket case for 20 years and shafted by various entities I doubt we'd have sunk into the third tier and I'd like to think we'd have healthy crowds in a top flight standard ground. But it has been, and unless someone with more money than sense comes along we're never having our own ground and will always be at the mercy of a shit rugby team. So while we were once on a par with Southampton/Leicester/Norwich etc we now have to worship Bournemouth and Burnley and accept getting patronised by Stoke.

There has been a realignment and we drew the shittiest stick of the lot
