both suited us at different times.

I do agree with what somebody said in that Robins was a more cautious manager and Frank likes to play with the handbrake off

I’m sure I read an Everton fan prior to us hiring him, attacking wise the football is great, and we’d score loads. Defensively Lampard is a lot to be desired. We’ve tightened up loads recently so I’ll be interested to see what happens when a team manages to put the pressure on us

As well as putting the graft in he can also pick a pass. Lovely pass through the defence for Wright’s big chance in the first half. Superb player and professional.

He is always available for the ball and so careful with it. The other players must really love having him in the team.

The last player who properly oozed rolls Royce quality was Roland Nilsson. He was just sublime.

Part of the reason he doesn’t pick up lots of injuries. Everything is very easy, controlled, sensible and considered. He doesn’t / shouldn’t have to run around a lot.

I find it amazing that Swansea fans were a bit divided on him. Some did really rate him but others were basically saying he passes sideways etc.

The bloke’s an absolute genius on the ball and always puts in a massive shift grafting when out of possession. Not bad in the air and reads the game so well. Amazing player.

No team has it all, but at this level most defences are shit when you get at them really. Attacking football has always done well at this level. Robinson was a lot of things but gung ho wasn’t one of them.

Robins saved us from the abyss and is a huge factor as to where we are today but he hit the ceiling of where he could take us.

Lampard by his own admission off the back of that has taken us onto the next level. Players look so much sharper, likes of Rudi, Torp, Da Silva, EMC have improved significantly under the new regime.

Other than Grimes, Rushworth, Kessler Hayden, Brau & Wolf these are essentially the same players who started last season so underwhelmingly.

The improvements on the pitch as well the fact the league seems to be so open this year with no real standout (apart from us) for me screams a perfect opportunity to make a proper push for autos.

The ability to bring on players like Simms, Wolf, Kessler Hayden today off the bench who would get in most champs starting line ups is huge for me. We’ve sent a massive statement to the league in the last 3.

Beat Blackburn next to stay unbeaten after 10 and remain top of the league I feel sets the tone for the remainder of the season.

Rest up over the international break and we go again. Signs are positive. What a start and time to be a cov fan!

I wonder why no other club signed him before us? He's been one of the best in the division for years.

Maybe he was too expensive before but now he's a little older his value dropped a bit.

We were interested in him for a while before he signed according to Douglas.

Absolutely superb player.

He was probably happy where he was and Swansea wanted more than clubs wanted to pay. His age has brought it down but we will be able to count on him for a good while yet.

Grimes reminds me of Carrick in his play

Bidwell is nothing like Kane. Like Allen he has massive experience at this level and shows time and time again he can be relied on if needed.

What a silly comparison
