Matty godden championship record at coventry (3 Viewers)

Given a full squad available it is touch and go whether Godden would be a definite starter these days and moving forward, but how often do we have that luxury? We need decent back up and Godden provides that. To adequately replace him would be much more costly than his 8k a week. MR sees value in keeping him and that's good enough for me. Given the part he played in our promotion season and in us getting established in the Championship, I also feel he deserves a bit more respect than he is getting from some posters on here.

On the wrong / bad calls bit, completely agree that we all make them and there's nothing wrong with it. I actually think there's something incredibly admirable about anyone who can admit they made a wrong call...football or anything else. (if someone were getting it right each week I'd suggest they're in the wrong job anyway and probably not from this earth anyway!) No need for anyone to to villify anyone in general for an opinion, everyone is just a fan with perfectly imperfect opinions. Ideally everyone should keep the debate healthy, enjoy it but avoid being personal.

Don't do twitter, but fair play to Godden. Hope Cameron is ok. I've been in that dark place and thought of suicide. Please if anyone has any idea of who he is visit him. Fingers crossed we win and that makes him feel better. Come on Cameron, many people are here for you, don't do anythink silly.

His pain can be mental or Physical, for me it was both. Physical is the hardest one to see and sort out, it's easy to hide.
Please if anyone even thinks they MIGHT know him then check, best to check and be sure.
What saved me was this place, silly as it sounds i had had enough, Mrs died and i was always ill.
I felt like giving in, but drunken i said it on here and the messages i woke up to the next day made me feel wanted and stupid for thinking that way.

Please, if anyone knows him or thinks they might but not sure, check in and look after that person (he won't be the only one).

Cameron, we are ALL HERE FOR YOU, message me and i will give you my number and we can talk for as long as long as you want to. I've been where you are, things do get better xxx

At the time I really thought Gyokeres would be a squad player and I thought Biamou would be a cheaper option as a 4th choice striker. Couldn’t be happier to have been proved wrong by Gyokeres, he’s been a revelation and I don’t think many saw it coming.

Now, back to you. Will you admit how far wrong you got it with Godden? Go on, just admit you misjudged it horrendously as I have above. You can do it. I believe in you.
