Can someone actually ask why he persists with a front 3 I include Palmer in that as an attacker that cannot hold the ball up. The same 2 strikers up front.
Recruitment has been poor. I can even forgive the DaCostas, Kastaneers, Hillsners of the world, but to spend millions on Wright and Simms for no end product, really hurts a lot.
What worries me is our lack of movement. We also looked scared to give the ball away so we never chanced a quick counter by running and taking them on, but always chose to go backwards and keep possession. Good sides know when to mix it up. We play at one pace the whole time.
