Looks like he is great at pinging balls to the right. Our issue is we would be offside for 90% of them !

Based on that highlight reel he's got a cracking left foot. Bassette, Simms the wingers and MVE should be licking their lips if they are watching that.

This is what we like to see. Season after season of game after game. No long term injuries and great average.

You’d normally say that’s Allen and Bidwell, but they’re more Mr 6.7 out of 10, so Grimes is more a Mr 8 out of 10?

He's decent.

I'm just wondering how Franks persuaded Doug to part with £3.5m+ for a 30 year old on decent wages?

Lets hope its the start of him listening more to the football people than the accountants

It’s a huge u-turn again from him. Perhaps even a desperation move to get promoted within his 5 year time scale.

Did someone say song?

This would be very good, me thinks...

It's a great tune anyway

"This is Matt Grimes, Matt Grimes in action..."

Haven't thought past that just yet, but it's a start.

I don't think 3rd parties are allowed to own a player's contract but I can't see anything wrong with a 3rd party investing in the club.

When u can pass like he does and plays as deep as he does not sure he wants to be on his arse much. I would prefer to watch him drill 30 yards passes over back tracking left backs and right backs all in a panic. Because they know with space behind trying to stop EMC, Wright, Tatsu, Milan, Simms and Bassette running with the ball would be be a nightmare.

And it would be all game long, FL shouting to the wide players the old ON YOUR BIKE SON soon as Grimes picks up his head. Wouldn't that be nice to be able to use the tools of strong runners we have
