Taking a well earned break cheering myself up in Cyprus, and after annoying the missus, the hotel staff, and basically every sod I've met, thought I'd channel my inner song cribbing flair.

Heard a rehash of the O'Hare song for Matty at one point but think he deserves better than that. Anyway, given his metronome performances (to coin a phrase from Gurney), here's my offering to the Monkees, I'm a believer chorus.

"Then I saw Matt Grimes, now I'm a believer
Not a trace of doubt in my mind
I'm in love
I'm a believer, he's our leader, that's Matt Grimes."

Anyone who can sing the Saka lyrics from memory, should have no problem singing this! However, I'm sure the more talented among us can improve on what I've come up with.

Although I expect his current song will stay. I can get on board with rehashing Gary Breen’s song, even if “a team of Matty Grimes “ doesn’t quite flow. Needs another 7 or 8,000 banging it out though.
