No supporter should back these kids prices , just because tickets sell dont make it right .

If we go to the premier league no fan will pay more than 30 quid away from home

I do agree. Though I suspect if we do then also compete on season ticket pricing there will be a lot of eyes watering.

It's capitalism mate, we lose money as a business so they are trying maximise the income of the business. This makes perfect business sense. There is the moral argument to say it does make any decent sense is just wrong.

Its not that at all. Its knowing which fans will come in numbers regardless. In L2 and L1 we were regularly Cat A. Thats nothing to do with putting the club on a pedestal, it has everything to do with a club with low gates, cashing in on a loyal fanbase that'll turn up.in numbers regardless. Its pointless over pricing a team who will only bring a maximum of 200 fans, you'll just price them out and lose in the long run.

In years gone by we've done the right thing and never had it returned. I remember one season we were the ONLY club in the league that signed up to twenties plenty. I remember one season, i wanna say a London ish club (qpr, reading maybe, that sort of size, location) we charged £25 for their fans and went there and it was something like £37 and im sure it was midweek! We've had our fair share of having our pants pulled down whilt doing the right thing by them. I say fuck them! Everyone had the chance to sign up to 20s plenty, nobody did! If I remember correctly, FGR was over £20 for L2 and there was no roof or seats ffs! And it was a right miserable day to boot!

When the capitalism thing comes in I just think of that whole ‘for the fans’ thing is all. Feels silly to me to say ‘you can’t afford to come see us play Birmingham, maybe the Swansea game is more your ball park.’

So why is it just us charging these obscene prices for adults and kids?

Our ground isn't even in the top 10 most sold stadiums in the division either.

Is it because people never took up the chance to pay the subscription or because they weren't allowed?

You’re spot on. People are talking on here like this is every game.

People who attend more than 12 games a season should have a season ticket anyway.

For those who can’t/don’t want to attend every game, go to one of the many non A+ games instead.

I’d like to remind everyone that we’re a quarter of the way through the season already and had only one A+ game

Trouble is we're headed into territory of rigging the system are we not, haven't hit the point yet,st's are ultimately likely to be hiked under this method while supply is limited?

Not while there's no protection's watchdogs available to police it, growth no matter how it comes is the mantra of the day.

It’s us as fans that do that.

The club is simply responding to our demand

That is a risk yes. But there always has to be a financial reward to buying a season ticket so they can’t increase them that much

What’s a fairer way to allocate goods that are in limited supply? Fact is when the club isn’t doing well it doesn’t matter how much tickets are no fucker is buying them so I won’t begrudge them cashing in when things are going well. Swings and roundabouts really.

£15 tickets did little to sell out v Luton in the Carabao cup.

You see people talk about ‘filling out the stadium’ by reducing prices to £35… We‘ve sold out nearly all the stadium for most games. Blues, Baggies and Leicester home games will all sell out despite the £47 ticket (including admin fees).

I paid £1500 for a ticket to go to the Euro 2024 final. If people want to go to any event, they’ll pay the admission.

Look at the prices people were paying for Oasis or Taylor Swift tickets.

Kids tickets definitely need to come down.

We need to find a way of policing adults using kids tickets though.

Adult prices are fine.

Isn't that done by now? I'd think it must be, then we get into the realm's of what Is a kid Child?

I didn't say I had a better idea.

Maybe lump them in with other less attractive fixtures so if you buy for the really high demand game you have to buy one for a low demand? Of course there are problems with that in people needing to be available for two dates etc.

That just effectively doubles the price of attendance. It’s the same solution! Youre prioritising those with the most resource and denying those with less the chance for a cheaper ticket. Fact is we all want to watch 23 year olds earning more in a month than we do all year and someone’s got to pay for that.

Doesn’t work.

I’m back for Christmas paying to see one game. I then have to buy another ticket for a game I’m not in the country for?

Christmas is when a lot more people want to catch a game so the prices are a bit higher. It’s really not that big a deal.

Many people dont agree that 45 -60 pound is fine for 2nd tier football , maybe for you as you can afford it ..just because people pay it doesnt make it ok

There wont be much higher in the league

It's morally dubious but if you're confident of selling all the tickets at a higher price, from a business perspective you should charge it.

Looked to be bigger segregation gaps, particularly in the South stand and if so those tickets were never really available for sale.

Well my point was that we never sold it out , because BSB mentioned if we sell all the tickets we can charge what we like (from a business perspective )

45-60 is too expensive , we can be weirdly obnoxious to eachother all day but that will still be the case

But if we got close to selling the game out financially it makes sense, which is why I asked how many tickets were left that could have been sold.

No one is being obnoxious, just talking about the subject.
