In the final home game of what's been an urm, 'interesting' season (on and off the pitch), the Sky Blues take on Reading, who are virtually assured of a play-off spot (barring 2 defeats and one hell of a goals swing towards Millwall).

Reading have been on fire - until last Saturday, 2-0 up, they messed it up and lost to the probably-doomed Sheff Utd 3-2. Reading will come to CV6 to play a City side who snatched defeat from the jaws of a draw in the final minute of the game at Boro.

While the game will see the new kit revealed in all its Sky Blue glory, it will most likely be the final game for a number of players - most certainly Westwood (going to miss his saves next season); probably King and possibly Gunna.

3-0 King Keogh Jukebox
Keogh is going to get his goal before the end of the season, he has to!
Looking forward to seeing the shirt in all it's glory and the other little surprises that there meant to have in store (maybe the board members may be at the game).
Staying for the lap of honor after the game. Going to be upset to loose some of our players.

King will score in his farewell game. AT introduced to the Ricoh crowd for the first time as MANAGER and Westy keeps his final clean sheet.

Hoping for a good entertaining game in the sunshine! Hey, I know that's optimistic but it is my Birthday so come on City, give me a nice present!

Will finally be able to make my mind up on the kit too which will be nice. Hated it from the front but after seeing the back with King on it I like it more. We'll see.

Should be a nice start to my birthday celebrations so bring it on!

Happy birthday! Hope they don't let you down.

I usually get a good result for my birthday but hardly surprising since I was born in August and we always start well

Wasn't too bad a game today, we should have won as we had the better chances but they didn't look like a team chasing 2nd...

If you'd have been told there was a promotion chasing team on display, you'd have assumed it was us, no doubt. Not that Reading were bad-they just spent most of the game having the play dictated to them. This side would be top 8 if we can just keep it together-and that's with Quirke in for Westwood already assumed.

loved the chant where were you when we were shit.. first ever 0-0 i've been to, disappointed we didn't win, but having 12% more possession than a team in the play-offs is a positive, and having more chances and playing the better football :')

cov 606 is dying a slow death it seems...so im gonna give SBT a go now:wave:

great display, best of the season imo even if we didnt manage to win, every one played their socks off for the shirt(v nice shirt too!) and i think most cov fans went home with a big smile on their faces

so nice to see 1 touch passing,1-2's,cross field pass, swithcing play to different flanks, through balls etc at the ricoh from us instead of the opposition!

as i said everyone played well,my ratings would be

quirke - 8 - kicking was suspect but he made 1 brilliant save from antonio and managed to keep a clean sheet in what must have been a nervy match for him,if he our westwood replacement? im not so sure but he did well today

hussey - 7 - usually he looks good in attack and suspect defending today was the opposite lol

crainie - 9 - didnt put a foot wrong

keough - 8 - solid altho lost the ball on some mauruding runs, cant do that as a CB rich! actually scrap that,we want attacking footy at the ricoh, mistakes wil happen, keep it up,hes our lucio/luiz!

clarke - 8 - i am not a hater,he needs to work on his game but today he was CLASS bar his reluctance to put a cross in or overlap the winger, but had a geat game othrwise.

clingan - 8 - runs the midfeild, only reason he doesnt get a 9 in my book is that hes so confident now that he was trying to pass out of his own defensive box when for once we really did need to hoof it! could have cost us a goal in anothr game, but bar that he was EXCELLENT and is really playing well

bell - 7 - out paced a reading defender in 93rd minute...oh yes! id like to see him attack defenders in corner more though

gunnarson - 9 - MOTM, a warrior performance fro our viking thor! if hes gonna play like this under thorn please sign the contract!

baker - 8 - lional messi at times, goals will come if he becomes a regular

juke - 7 - worked hard but not his day today, needs to be more clinical

king - 8 - always looks a threat, great hold up/link up play, unlucky not to have scored, please sign king! pleaseeeeeeeeee!

platt/wood - not enough time on pitch to rate

lets not forget people that reading are the hottest team in the league and needed point to clinch playoffs, and we out played them9they did look dangerous at times mind), some players fans wrote off are looking like match winners all of a sudden and im very excited for next season as for once i dont get the feeling that this is new manager honeymoon perioid, theres a new mentality at the ricoh next season and its ATTACK ATTACK ATTACK!

PUSB! ANDY THORNE SKY BLUE ARMY!
