Coventry City v Burnley -
Ricoh Arena
K.O Saturday, 20th November 3:00pm

Head To Head

Saturday will see the 45th league and cup match between Coventry City and Burnley.

Of those 44 matches already played, City have won 11 and drawn 11. They have scored 48 goals compared to Burnley's 67.

Coventry City

Are currently in poor form loosing their last 3 matches. Clive Platt will be available and Aidy Boothroyd is expected to have a selection headache with Freddy Eastwood, Marlon King and Lukas.J also available for selection.

Home Form: DLWLWL

Burnley

Have not achieved an away win so far this season only collecting 6 points from 8 away league matches. former Coventry player Danny Fox could start alongside Alexander a former Coventry City season ticket holder with former loan player Jack Cork expected to start in midfield.

Away Form: dDDLDD

My Predictions

Formation

K.Westwood
Keogh McPake Wood Cranie
Gunnarson Carsley(C) Doyle McSheffrey
King Platt

Score : 2-1 (Mcsheffrey, Gunnarson)

Attendance: 15,173

Can I please just point out that we've won 6 points from 8 away games, not two! We are the draw specialists!

Time for city to turn the bad run around, not really bothered witch strikers are started just as long as we get a few goals and 3 points.

Whenever I forecast a good result for City I put the mockers on them so I'll say 3-0 to Burnley this time in the hope that I am wrong again!

Great result and good goal! We were awful and Carsley was dire!

King worked hard though!

Great strike by Mickey Doyle, looked even better on the replays on the Football League show

Might stick a bet on him to score again next week, if I remember rightly he doesn't score often but his goals normally come like buses - none for ages and then 2 within a couple of games.

There's only one Mickey Doyle

It was a very poor game and very frustrating to watch, Gunnarsson made the difference for me after Baker (whom I do rate) played his worse game for Cov.
King still looks to have that bit more class about him, and one guesses he will explode with goals soon enough.

I know we play direct football, but Saturday - we were too direct.
