Anyone heard anything?

Shame if they don't do it this season.

Yeah I really appreciated these offers last year. cant justify a season ticket as i live in Gloucestershire. but its good to get to a run of games here and there whilst saving a few quid.

I think they will be doing them. On the ticket site the option is showing there, although there are no details when you select it.

Arriving mid/late July had a email off ticket master the other day with regards to something else and they said that's when they'll be sent.

I think they are going to be setup to replace season tickets once the season starts.

You would have thought they would let fans know that.

The club tweeted yesterday that they are doing match packages and hoped to have details by the end of this week.

Season tickets are no longer practical for our family, and match packages suit us well. But in keeping with the long-standing traditions of CCFC, the website, phone systems, email, shop and ticketing arrangements all seem designed specifically to frustrate. Not a “meltdown”, just a very weary observation.

It should make it easier as you just print off your ticket at home for the game and go up.

In theory...

I really think that when push comes to shove they will ensure a pay on the gate option, it will be stupid if they don't. There are bound to be plenty of away fans for a start who jump in the car with their mates on a last minute whim and want to pay cash for entry. I have a printer and will take that option but not everyone has that facility do they ? Surely you still have to hold open the chance for folk to wake up on a Saturday and make a last minute decision to nip to the cash point and head off down the City ?!

Thanks for that Nick, but I'm not sure what you are referring to. Is there a new system for buying online printing your own tickets, and is that for one-off tickets or packages? The info may or may not be on the website, I've given up with going round in circles on there. As Ashdown says, paying at the gate on the day is best for people like me who have difficult family arrangements - but the packages represented quite a saving last year, and you could just use the vouchers in lieu of cash at the cash turnstile. Less than a week to the start of the season, and I still don't know what the options are

Yes, you will be able to use Ticketmaster to do it online and print your own tickets at home.

Sorry to labour the point Nick, but when you say you “will” be able to, I assume that means you can’t do it yet? And are we talking here about one-off match tickets, or packages?

Last season, the packages suited us well, but it was damned hard work buying them (I remember a couple of abortive trips to the Butts). I’m going away next week and have been trying to get myself set up with the packages before then, so we can start using them on our return.

It’s bizarre that the topic is even having to be discussed on here. Have I missed something on the official website, and do you have a link?

You 100% can with one off tickets, I'd assume you can with match packages too when they are released.
