Very impressive. Is it going to be available for us to use?

Yes - placed straight underneath away supporters. What could possibly happen to it?! Can you imagine if it had been operational yesterday and JH's face had appeared on it?

If it’s been paid for by wasps then it’s safer where it is.

Would assume so as Wasps haven't paid for it. The company who own it and installed it make their money from the on screen advertising so will want it in use as much as possible.

I've heard we aren't using it and will be using the new small screen in the main stand.

That's my thinking. Makes no sense having two functioning screens so close to each other.

My thoughts exactly. Surely they will, otherwise it makes far more sense to put it behind the other goal.
Perhaps the thinking is to subsequently fill in between the two with another 3 screens to make it look ridiculous.

I just assumed the old one would be taken down?

Frustratingly, we don’t use the existing screen other than to replicate the old Highfield Road scoreboard to highlight the score, which is such a waste (oh sorry, and substitutions/sponsored corners).

I hope this doesn’t remain the case when the new screen goes live as it’s great to view replays, especially on the rare occasion that we actually manage to score!

Videos at half time and before the game? Highlights from the last game? Competitions?

They still use it for that? Not mocking, honestly arrive in my seat just before ko and spend half time downstairs so wouldn’t know if that’s the case. During the game is what I meant, like they used to do. It’s still wasted imo.

There's not much point during the game as people aren't looking. I don't notice all the corner adverts etc.

It's used a fair bit before the game and during halftime.

Maybe wasps will use it to allow fans to watch freeview TV during the game rather than the dross on the pitch.

Big screen looks good - First pictures of Ricoh Arena's giant new screen
Please accept my apologies for using a Wasps Telegraph story - I'm going to slap my own wrists with a wet fish!

Hope they're going to finish it off properly and not just have the black tarps around it.
