Who is this covteled that made out this was going to be the biggest story since we moved to the Ricoh? Is he a junior reporter at the telegraph?

He clearly does not understand that big news to him = non-news to us as it seems he is still trying to justify this story meriting the "big news" tag. What a joker.

Unless of course the real story has been suppressed for some reason, and this isnt the story he thought was being printed. If so, he should just be honest about it, as right now he just looks like a dick of the highest order, and still attempting to justify it is proving he is a dick of the highest order.

It was the same thing the other day with their 'exclusive' story on Ray Ranson leaving, the problem being that the story had already been broken by the Mirror earlier that morning. Instead of just admitting that they got it wrong, they argued that their piece had a more 'concrete' tone than the Mirror's, thus warranting the exclusive tag. Lame.

He is obviously trying to sell more papers and that is what he is judged by so understandable, but it's like the boy who cried wolf and when there is a genuine story people wil not rush out to get a copy. What would have been a better line would have been to have simply stated rather that "biggest story since moving to Ricoh" that we have an exclusive from Gary Hoffman on his thoughts since leaving and attempts to source new investment. Instead of 'bigging it up' and we would have all felt more positive about this same story, which lets face it could still be very good positive news just sold to us badly. Communication every time from all aspects inside and outside of the club seems to leave us feeling let down.

That news wasn't even worth the paper it's written on. Why are the CT/CET (which ever floats your boat) so slow on these stories! I don't think it was even the biggest news of the last two weeks let alone to biggest thing to happen to Coventry City since moving to the Ricoh!
