£150 last year. Seemed to include more too like free tickets for 4 and allowed one adult to be around it more.

(Free kit is new so it's like £300....tho in reality I suspect anyone doing it already has a lot bought!)

The price for a lot more than last year but you get more stuff like the kit but less involvement for the parents.

Wasn't expecting the price!
But, (without checking) probably in line with other mascot experiences.
As a benchmark - nephew was West Brom mascot last year. £150 - wasn't allowed in changing room or in tunnel, no kit, virtually no player interaction - allowed to high five players on their way out of tunnel, kick about with Baggies Bird on the pitch before players came out. that was pretty much it.

last season they gave 3 free tickets to the match too, I can't see that this time around either!

QPR price to be a match day mascot was £800 and that was years ago...

You seem to get a lot more but what happens if the kid already has the kit?

Seems a good price with kit included and a great experience.
Mine did it a few years ago and it was great!
Clarkey-ccfc - think the club previously said no to adults as they don't want stags.....

they say the kids will have an opportunity to meet the players and take photos. last season the parent/chaperone could take the pictures of their kid with the player. but this season the adult seemingly only sees their kids on the pitch just before KO?

Didn't they sell out in minutes last year? That's probably be taken as an indication they were under priced

Last season they sold out very quickly (within an hour I think). I took my eldest he loved it.

I was down to take the middle child this time but it seems a very different experience this time around as parents can't chaperone their kids. It says the kids can take photos with the players, but I suppose they would need to do selfies if the parent isn't there?

I brought my middle kid the home kit in anticipation of getting the mascost package for oxford (we are from there so most of his classmates are oxf fans) but too many unknowns for the price. I have emailed the club some questions about it but will wait for their answers before deciding whether to buy or not.

looks like the first 3 fixtures have already sold out. so maybe the club have done it too cheaply again this season

Shame parents can't chaperone the kids any more, means my youngest won't be able to do it this year as he wouldn't manage on his own.

My eldest did it last year for £149 and it felt good value for money, was not expecting it to jump to £350.

It will sell out but that's not the point is it

The club seem to be going more and more towards the middle class families with prices nowadays. I know that's how football is going and we will have to move with the times but it's sad to see

yeah last season was great. had i known what this season would be like i would have tried to do all 3 of my kids last year.

this year you are paying much more for a lot less..... the chicken goujons and ccfc bag is not better value than 3 free tickets to the match and being able to bring a chaperone.

my kids are older so would likely be ok but how many younger kids would be ok doing this on their own?

also if you get a mascot package for the last few games the kit will soon be out of date and you may well have already got the kid a kit already for bday/xmas. i suppose it will just mean parents getting their kid two kits (away or 3rd kit) i think buying the kit should have been an optional extra for if you did not already have one.

i get it that other clubs charge more blah blah blah but that is just a race to to the bottom for fans on tight incomes. last season was a decent enough value but i don't think this season is. having said that they have sold out so the bean counters have probably got it right

They will say they have added the kit which is valued at ……. This will also stop people trying get away wearing fake kits which they said if you did last year they stopped you doing it but I guess the fakes are getting better.

My lad did it last year and the parents were as excited as the kids.

Hopefully they will get to meet all the players and they don’t have a twat like O’Hare was last year.

they will say that but the kit retails at £85 and the increase is £200. Furthermore they are not including 3x free tickets to bring the family along. so you are paying a lot more but getting a lot less.

Those saying it's extra income....its about 30k when we bring in over £20m.

Stinks of King greed here. £250 and parents allowed for younger ones would have been fairer

You are correct but the kit will be one of the excuses, the package all round isn’t as good the best but last year was meeting the players as they arrived at the ground and getting individual pictures with them on my phone. I am glad we didn’t last year.

People are going to pay but I have to say I wouldn’t it’s too much for me.

Or its just slowly bringing us in line with todays average prices and an extra 30k a year will pay for someone else to man the phones in the ticket office or another non playing staff member..

Until we are premier league we need every £ going in my eyes!

And this comes from someone who has a 6 year old and would have got a package for him at £150 this year but will wait a couple more years now

Disappointing to price anyone out of this opportunity. Will make approx £50k on the season. Chicken feed compared to our turnover these days.

My daughter was lucky enough in L2 to do it for nothing (just had to buy full kit). One of the greatest days for her ever and one of my proudest as a parent.

With season tickets, shirts and tough finances where parents must make choices or sacrifices. We only have one daughter others of course 2 or 3 children so could even be at the expense of no family holiday.

I do understand it's a 1st world problem and some families struggle to eat before anyone gets on my case, but for others to be denied what we had is a real shame.

I think the most disappointing aspect is the cutting say 1 parent away....for me part.of the experience would be watching my children meeting the pkayers.

Could have added 5 pounds onto every season ticket price and made almost 3x as much.. I don't think ripping off families with kids is the way to go about business

No strong feelings one way or another on this, but if it sold out in a few minutes that would suggest people see it as decent value.

Disagree. It means fans who can afford it versus those who can't. Appreciate that's life, but doesn't make it any less bitter.

You disagree that people see it as good value? If it wasn’t good value to those who bought then it wouldn’t have sold out in minutes. People can afford it or they can’t, it’s the way of the world. No different to buying a season ticket, or match tickets, etc.
