Too much garbage talked and not enough action. I take my hat off to the Crawley 5, the lads who ran on the pitch and got arrested. They were prepared to sacrifice themselves so that the message got to SISU and the national press that going to the Cobblers is not on.

Maybe next time we can sacrifice sheep at the altar.

We can slit their throats, do the protest and then sell the meat on to a Halal butcher's.

There's a whole thread on proposed action (actually, there's probably been several). Agree with action, but the more creative the better. Wrestling with a bloke in a fluourescent jacket doesn't do it for me.

We should sacrifice Fisher to our god, Wicker Man style, on Jimmy's Hill.

Let's try and keep it on topic eh chap. We don't need to know if wrestling with blokes does or does not do it for you.

I think it is a stupid idea. If u r going on the pitch sit down peacefully don't run round the pitch playing to the crowd. It doesn't do our cause any favours with other clubs or press.

I can't help but think that SISU have already got the message very loud & clear...before CVA was refused even! Equally, I think there are many of us who are ignoring the basic msg that SISU don't care what we think unless there is money in it for them...or if they are significantly deprived of money by us.

Greased up fans wrestling in front of an open fire could work though.

If you want to "atleast do something" have a sit down protest outside shitfields ticket office"

There will be people who will go regardless, but will they push aside a peaceful protest outside the ticket office?

Certainly don't condone people risking jobs and livelihoods for what is in effect a hobby!

Alternatively just NOPM!

As with any parasites, they feed on the lifeblood of others, in this case that lifeblood is money!

Yep, full respect to running on the pitch and swinging at people doing their job. Absolute scholars.

We've already sacrificed 8000 fans what more does this greedy idol require?

This reminds me of that scene in The Simpsons where someone says to Mr. Burns "Monty, you are The Devil Himself!" to which Burnsy replies "Why, who told you?!"

Anybody on the pitch at the Ricoh???? I was as was my seven year old and before its said, its no different. We should not have entered on to the pitch yet it was soon realised we were not thugs or hooligans just desperate fans wanting to get our point across and fair play it was allowed for about 20 mins?? Point is if one fan had gone on he would have been chucked off but as it was nearly the whole crowd went on, not much you can do im afraid.

People did get stopped to start off with unless they had a flag I think, then the stewards just couldnt be arsed.

not sure the exact rule, is it a FL / FA rule or the law? there is clearly discretion allowed as well. Look at our game at St Marys on the day they went up, they knew everyone would be on the pitch so the stewards just made sure we didn't go on as well and start any problems. as far as I know the thousands that were on the pitch that day didn't all get bans.

Or...tie him up and gag him and roll him down Jimmy's Hill to send him crashing into Shitfields. That force at that speed will bring that shed down to the ground and we will have no alternative than to return to the Ricoh.

(Ultimately we may have to return the favour to Northampton and let them play at the Ricoh if this actually happens)

A few cov got on the pitch at saints. No problems though, Think most people were genuinely happy for the saints fans.
You are right about discretion. Police would'nt be interested in a peaceful pitch invasion by hundreds of fans. They would only be interested when people start making obscene or threatening gestures or attacking stewards/damage to property etc. 3-400 went on the pitch at wolves last season. Police were only interested in about a dozen of those.
