I posted a piece about long covid in footballers/athletes a while ago. Not saying he had it but he might have done.I think though ultimately Waghorn was in decline for his spell here, started reasonably well but after he had COVID he just looked way off it.

Let's face it he was better than Sean MaguireWaghorn stole a living here, we signed him off the back of 1 good game for Derby at the end of their season. But he was past his prime and slow as fuck here.
