Definitely 3 years Wingy. What baffles me is that so many people think he's a good manager and think he did well at Wigan. Won the FA Cup but beat a Man City side that looked like they were on the beach and put in one their worst performances in years. Didn't have a hard run on the way there either. It's fair to say both Wigan and Everton went backwards under him.
