Jokes aside, if the new club gets off the ground in the championship then the Kassam stadium has already been identified and contacted for Wasps

No chance. OUFC on notice to vacate by 2026 then the bulldozers go in for re-development.

How would that work with the car park side of the ground and the weird kicking over the goals they do.

The latest proposed site already has a rugby club across the road. I guess they could develop that into a 5000 seater stadium.

They’d need 10k if they want back in the Premiership.

Do free tickets help? They could easily give away 10,000 tickets for a 5,000 seater stadium couldn't they?

Year 1 regulation

RFU reduce minimum stadium capacity criteria to 5,000 for 2023

As a big relief to the clubs seeking promotion for the 2023/24 season of the Gallagher Premiership, the Rugby Football Union has relaxed minimum stadium capacity requirement to 5,000.

Pretty much the only sentence in the English language that could get me up for watching a game of Rugby...
"It's either that or we watch the NFL."

Yes, but it’s proposed to be a short term deal until they get back into the premiership
