I have to say that I had wondered what he would say today but he called it as it was didn't he? Though we relied on commentary and can't therefore be so critical Robins though agreed with what we were all saying and basically was even hiding some anger I felt?
He expected to win regardless of games coming thick and fast, regardless of being a little jaded yet the players while making every effort failed to make things happen with miss placed passes, and tellingly he said "players not making the right choices today".
He agreed subsitutions, it was difficult to know how he could change the game given most were having an off day.

This guy has never disappointed me with the truth and his confidence. I think we will see a different attitude on Wednesday becuase Robins I think is kicking himself for the last 2 defeats taking the momentum away.

It might just turnout to be a blessing as now we have to lift our game from these two league defeats and get back on course. Tranmere, Swindon and Brentford have done the same thing recently so lets show we can too. A win over the top side will definately put things back on track.
Plenty of games to go and we have that big squad to help us out. Can't help thinking those darn cups have been the hiderence we don't need....

You mean 'Mark Robins'.... he is a good manager and so it surprises me how many CCFC can't spell his name right!

Especially surprising from a respected poster like you - I do agree with everything else in this post!

Don't know if anybody remembered 1963-64 season when we won division 3 championship (league 1 now)
between jan 11 1964 and 4th april '64 we played 14 matches and only won one.we need teams above us to go on a simular run

True, but before that we won 150% of games and were streets ahead by Xmas (thank goodness!)

What's with the underlines? I was clicking for 5 minutes expecting a link to highlights of the said games.

We've won a game or two this season that apparently we were lucky to win, so it figures we'll lose a game or two we should win. It's karma. I still have massive faith in Robins and believe with a run a of good football we could make the playoffs. PUSB.

Which games have we been lucky to win? Apart from penalty shoot outs or maybe the Preston tie I can't think of any league matches we have been lucky to win

Away to Leyton Orient? We were poor and they had several proper chances. Our goal was from a huge goalkeeping error.

Only been to two games this season and this one felt like a lucky win...
