He has rebuilt a club on its knees. Anything that has happened since is on him. Whatever obstacle there was he has just got on with it.
In my opinion Robins is the finest manager we could have had. Thank you.

100 more games to catch Gordon Milne. 248 more to catch Storey in first place. There’s an argument half of Storey’s games came pre war which tends to be the cutoff. Already managed more than 50 games more than Hill.

Two more seasons after this and I’d argue he’s our longest serving post war manager.

Well its always been a bit of an odd one really. I am pretty certain Milne was always first team manager but they kind of worked as a double act I suppose. I think Mercer was more a General Manager - negotiating contracts etc
