Big fan of him saying that 8th in our first season back in League One wasn’t great. Winning mentality right there.

Every time I see, hear or read anything from MR, I think 'I couldn't possibly love this man any more'.

Very good article. I was interested to note his reference to David Mayler, who I previously never saw the value of his loan. Clearly, he was influential around the changing room.

This guy deserves a proper tribute - maybe some kind of banner or sign?

Bit surprising he says David Meyler made a difference last season!

Great read. Not sure why people are surprised about Meyler. Doyle would have been a big loss mentality and he filled that void I think.

As an aside, I didn't know Chris Powell had rocked up at Den Haag.

Typical Mark Robins I'd say. Humble, feet still firmly planted on the ground and still maintaining the jobs not done yet with the premier league in his thoughts. He has been a revelation since coming back and his decision making in bringing in Adi Vievash was a critcal one, using the excellent academy, and setting up a scout/recruitment team with astute abilities, along with astyle of play that goes looking for results. That's a good manager.
SISU supported him properly and we have had our rewards. Now lets see where this spirit can continue to take us...

Lol just imagine (never gonna happen but dream with me), if we got promoted to the premier league and built our own stadium with the money.

Humiliation for CCC.

Robins writes: 'People talk about a 12th man – well, the Coventry supporters are exactly that. The role they’ve played in rebuilding the club can’t be overstated. With them behind you, you feel like you can achieve anything.'

We can't control the politics around being back at St. Andrews and we're all going to have different opinions as to what's really happening or who is to blame.

What we can control is being there in numbers at St. Andrews, standing proudly together and supporting our fantastic team and manager. A team without a home and performing against the odds. Let's get behind the lads just as we did last season.
