Marco Silva has been sacked as Watford manager, 10th in the Premier League, spent the first half of the season in the top half...

I know they’ve been on a bad run, but surely this is madness???

3 wins and 2 draws in 16 games isn’t a great record but should’ve still been given the chance to turn it around.

They say that he's been disinterested since they rejected approach from Everton. Sounds like he's thrown his toys out of the pram.

I doubt it. Just an excuse from the most trigger happy owners in England.

Troy Deeney has stated before that the players aren't bothered anymore about the change of managers. He even said footballers know what to do on the pitch anyway, so don't need a manager to tell them. Just have a coach then, or is that just another name for a manager ?

Their formula works. People were screaming for his head and are happy with 2 or 3 managers a season. The notion of long term stability in football management is folly. They are unstable and are over achieving.

There could be other than footballing reasons. Maybe they found him watching porn on the club's computer.
