Has just left Wycombe after scoring 8 goals in 8 games. Surely worth a try to replace Jutkiewicz?

It maybe a case of is he available cheap or cheaper, has he been known to score at attacking end, will he work cheap, does he have a pulse?

Got to be worth a punt. Can't be much worse than what we already have. Looks as though his 8 games at Wycombe were his first 8 professional games. To score 8 goals in those is pretty good (even if it is league 1)

he's scored those goals in a struggling side as well, a skill that would be put to use playing for us!

Guess it comes down to if we can afford him. Sad state of affairs when you are worried if you can afford to loan a player that Wycombe have had. And whether our super scout manager has even noticed him.

Depends if Fulham will pay all his wages I guess! I am sure we will be aware of him and his details circulated to try and find him a Championship club. PUSB

We need anyone with skill, don't think we can be picky with regards to age in our situation.

Did Darlington have any handy players that were released?

He's the same age as Keane was when he led our strikeforce in the Premiership.

For sure, if they're good enough they're old enough!

it was a joke. I don't think he's at the same level Keane was at that age though somehow! We won't sign him anyway!

According to the interweb he has left Wycombe because he wants to play for a Championship club (he was on loan from Fulham).
They wanted to get him back until the end of the season.
Apparently he is on £800 a week.
Other fans forums at Scunny and Preston have picked him up already and are saying for the wages he would be worth a punt so I would be pretty sure that he must be on several clubs radar.

Think from what is being said by Wycombe fans and other league 1 fans he would be a good signing. Any youngster is a bit of a gamble but the only experience we can afford are those who are passed it. Would sooner have a hungry youngster than a passed it oap.

http://www.fulhamfc.com/MatchAndTeam...lloTrotta.aspx

A big and powerful striker with a natural eye for goal, Marcello Trotta signed professional terms with the Club in September 2009.

This season Trotta has been in exceptional form for the Development squad, starting the campaign with a five goal haul against Bolton in August in the third game of the season.

At the start of October Trotta was making waves again, scoring four times against Norwich City at Motspur Park.

In November Trotta joined Wycombe Wanderers on a one-month youth loan. After scoring three goals in three games for Wycombe the striker's loan deal was extended to the 14th January.

Trotta then scored a hat-trick in his next game as Wycombe beat Exeter 3-1, taking his tally to 6 goals in 4 games whilst on loan at Wycombe.

After scoring 8 goals in 8 appearances for Wycombe, Trotta returned to Fulham on the 17th January 2012.
