Sure he may have a call back clause, but you cant use it in the 70th min when we need fresh legs up front.

He needs minutes on the field. At present, unless we need to revert to 433, which is very rare, he's not getting into the team ahead of Wilson and Clarke.

Let him go, but with an immediate recall clause, not a silly 28 day one

Manset is v unfit and struggles to last 10-15 mins. He needs to go out and get some football. If either Clarke or Wilson get injured he'd struggle to get to half time let alone do 90 mins.

If worst comes to worst, we could always put Jermaine Grandison on up front.

Makes sense to loan him out. As long as we can recall straight away, let him go to play games. if Wilson and Clarke stay fit we wont need him anyway.

Thing is, many of us said similar about Wilson in that he wasnt up to leading a League One strike force.

If Pressley got this one wrong, it wasn't an expensive mistake and wasnt costly in terms of us losing league points due to a lackluster attack.

Will Jervis be any better ?

According to Wikipedia Jervis is 6 months into a 3 and a half year contract at some Turkish club.

It wasn't long ago that they were saying we cannot wait to unleash the beast now they want to loan him out what a total load of twats just make a decision you are complete and utter fools to yourselves

Looks like they are making a decision, having changed their minds or him making a request. It's better than sticking to a catchy soundbite surely.

If he needs football he needs football. Better to think about the games after that injury and have a player who is match fit than to throw that away from the minutes we'd be short.

Besides, it's not like we don't know how to play 451, that was after all Preslley's preference until the summer.

What do you make of Manset to go out on loan ?. With the tiny squad we have what a crazy thing to do. Pretty sure it's not the managers choice, so much for Fishers "compettive squad " quote . Penny pinching again to pay for sisu's favourite pastime court cases , no doubt.

So it clearly was Pressley's choice - he wanted the loanee from Norwich -- chocked on the humble pie yet?

Interesting comments by Pressley re: Manset. Not hitting standards expected of Coventry players, not adapted to the Coventry way of playing...

Glad to hear it. Not suffering fools like different managers with Eastwood say.

Where were these comments made Stu? Fair play to SP for being honest about that one. I have wondered since Saturday whether Mani was left out of the squad because he'd found a club to go to, or if SP just didn't like him / his decision to say he wanted to go on leave

If you read his history, he has been criticised and let go for being unfit by every manager he's ever had...

If SP knew of his fitness history wtf possessed him to waste what little resources he DID have on him? Must say he has brought in Webster, Manset & Urquhart and two have decidedly failed to achieve and the other not even played! Only one conclusion - SP player buying is decidedly iffy. Thank Fook Rioch did such a fantastic job with the kids!

Have to respect Presleys choice of words describing mansett and the reasons he was going on loan. Sounded very confident and determined in what he wants from the players.
Said he`s struggling to adapt to the style off play i demand, pretty much said he was on his way out for good!
