....he won't be bloody doing that again in a hurry! What a shower of shite that was.

I think Mowbray needs to do a big clear out in the summer. There was one passage of play where we lost the ball on an attack and Odelusi, Nouble, and 2 others were just walking back and couldnt be fucking arsed. Saw that quite alot throughout the game.

Had a quick scan of the match thread and saw a few people say Maddison looked crap....must've been watching a different game because the only players on the field who looked confident with the ball at their feet were Maddison, Ward, and Smith for them. Would like to see Maddison start more games. He's puny as anything but from the very little I saw today I think he looks skillfull and, more importantly, up for it!!!

JOB tried his heart out I think, and Barton looked up for it too but his shots were pathetic....

Desperately miss a midfielder who can bang them in.

Overall probably one of the worst games of football I've ever watched in my whole life. And what kind of stadium runs out of beer in the first two minutes of half time???? It was the same last time we played at Meadow Lane. Embarrassing...

Maddison looked short of practise, pure and simple. Ward looked reasonable but the rest was pretty dreadful. The sad thing is I can't say to anyone that this performance was out of character . It wasn't .

I do worry about the hype that comes with George Thomas and Maddison.

These fixtures do not suit them when a result is a must!

I'm all for trying kids out but let's atleast get safe before we go experimenting.

Maddison did OK, don't get me wrong, but nothing more than that.

I do wish Obrien would stay in position. He leaves the full back more exposed than Frank does, and that's saying something as Frank does, and did, very little in general!

Pennington looked a little nervy today, which is unusual for him.

Burge too didn't give me much confidence at times. Atleast two efforts were easy saves and he almost messed them up. One went for a corner and another he managed to smother. As for the corner that hit the post and the one just before that, he may claim he was fouled but I thought it was just poor keeping.

Proswitch was getting a hard time from some supporters around me, but I thought overall he tried hard, but we have to play in an unfamiliar way to bring him into the game.

I don't think we should start experimenting with Maddison because he looks good and i think he would fit in okay and we could make something of him...i think we should play him because he looks better than our current options and wants it more...

SISU reduced us to a team of Academy kids and 'couldn't give a fuck short term loanees', I'm not sure what people expect really ! I went last year, didn't think this year could be as bad but seems it wasn't great either !

What's so wrong about academy kids? I'd be happier with 11 of them tbf

Really? I'm not so sure. Yes they might play for the shirt but especially in this league they'd get no where.

Sorry mate but there comes a point where a team of less developed/less able players who are working there arse off is better than a team of "couldn't give a fuck" loans.

I believe todays performance was just that point. I get what you're saying, I do, but we don't have the luxury of choosing between playing academy players or playing better experienced players. Its play academy players or waste space on the pitch with useless donkeys who couldn't give a fuck what's happening they're just wondering how long is left until they can fuck off back to their club.

Not in this league Fernando, you've got to have a couple of experienced pro's who can look after them. When the physicality and bullying starts you can't always rely on refs at this level to look after the kids.
