The coverage is an embarrassment, it's as if they are so desperate to push things and make everything a massive drama.

A few people outside, Sky doing their best to big it up for headlines as much as they can.

Yep, and a lot of extra security. Man Utd team got to Old Trafford early to get in before it and Liverpool used a different entrance while their, empty, usual team bus went the normal way in.

VAR says no pen for a follow through, I'm pretty sure that's a free kick anywhere else on the pitch, but there you go.

If that was at the other end, it would have been given.

No as it's clearly not a foul unless you are an ABU plum

Nowadays it's a pen.

In my eyes it shouldn't be, if you win the ball first then you should have a pass for the follow through.

Really? Even if you jump into the tackle two footed with studs up?

Depends how dangerous it is.

If it's at knee height then you obviously aren't winning the ball.

Studs up. Fucking hate that rule. Don’t really see why it’s even a thing.

You can put in an absolutely amazing well-timed tackle with the studs up that go straight through the ball and don't even make contact with the other player.

Players literally can't put a tackle in inside the box now as the majority of the time it's a pen.

You can make a challenge and win the ball first by jumping into the tackle and following through studs up onto the opponents ankle? Should this not be a foul? It would clearly be considered dangerous.

No, you can win the ball with your studs and take the ball cleanly with your foot raised if you time it right.

It doesn't mean you have to follow through with your studs up on their ankle does it? You could even tackle them and wipe them out just by cleanly going through the ball

You said earlier that if you win the ball, whatever comes after is a pass. So in your mind if they do follow through studs up on their ankle its fine.

Depends on the actual challenge doesn't It and the intent.
