The technology has upto 20cm margin for error so why the f$%k they're analysing it to the millimetre is absurd.
The City first goal should not have stood either. If the ball changes possession from hitting the referee it is a drop ball to the team that were in possession. The fact that a top level referee doesn't know that is bad enough but THAT IS a clear & obvious error so why wasn't it overturned?
Ok... apparently ref didn't actually touch the ball so technically correct by the laws but morally wrong, he has forced the possession to be turned over & City score as a result. Someone didn't think that law through fully, will need rewording!
