I just wanted to share that @MalcSB passed away last night after a short battle with cancer. He'd shared in the Politics thread in December that he had recently been diagnosed with brain cancer.

It has been a short battle, diagnosed mid December, then had surgery to remove it the tumour on News Years Day. Unfortunately, when the tumour was tested it was confirmed as stage 4 Glioblastoma, which is the most aggressive type of brain cancer. The prognoses was anywhere between 6 and 18 months.

He decided to fight it and had two rounds of aggressive chemotherapy and radiotherapy, however, an MRI in July showed that not only had the tumour returned but 3 more had developed and that there was no point continuing with any treatment.

There had been a rapid progression in his illness over the last 6-8 weeks, before passing away peacefully in his sleep with his wife holding his hand.

Shocking and so sad.

Please pass on my condolences, along with gratitude for having the privilege of having him as a part of our SBT and Skyblue family.

It’s another undeniable reminder about what’s truly important in life.

RIP

That must have been an incredibly difficult few months for him. But at least he went out in the way that most of us would choose to go.

Snorting coke off a hookers tits?

* Probably not the thread for it, but if it brings a smile to anyone reading through the posts, I'd like to think Malc would approve and appreciate it.

@stupot07 if you're able to share and are OK with it, any idea how old he was and if he had kids etc?

Very soon I appreciate but if anything we could contribute to as a forum for somewhere he spent lots of time, it might be nice.

* Tbh @Nick perhaps a general fighting fund you could hold so we could always send a community gift/message.
